The judge of the Oktyabrsky District Court of St. Petersburg, Elena Sergeyeva, arrested the activist of Timur Rasulov for the 12th day of the Vremya Activist for an obscene abuse in another meeting in an administrative case due to the “disappearing constitution”. This was reported in the telegram channel "Press Service of the Courts of St. Petersburg."
Rasulov was charged with petty hooliganism (part 1 of article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
In addition, Sergeyeva deleted from a meeting of his lawyer Vitaly Cherkasov allegedly due to disrespect for the court. Cherkasov told Mediazone that at first the judge rejected all the petitions: about the participation of the prosecutor, opening the trial - did not allow the audience and journalists, about the interrogation of witnesses, about watching videos, about calling bailiffs and police officers who delayed and drawn up documents for Rasulov. After that, the judge proposed to speak to maintain the position of the client.
“In this situation, I said that the court did not provide us with the opportunity to provide arguments for research and evaluation, and I do not have the opportunity to qualify the position of my client. The court did not accept these arguments and did not give them an assessment. After that, the judge deleted me, ”said Vitaly Cherkasov.
