Representatives of Twitter will discuss with RKN data storage in Russia

Representatives of the American company Twitter in January 2019 will meet with the leadership of Roskomnadzor to discuss the execution of legislation on storage of users data in Russia. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the press service of the RKN.

The exact date of the meeting will become known later.

Earlier, the head of Roskomnadzor, Alexander Zharov, promised to finish the company Facebook and Twitter if they did not stop keeping the data of Russians abroad. At the same time, however, the RKN does not intend to demand blocking social networks.
