The Russian national team won a strong -willed victory at the World Hockey Youth Championship

Hockey players of the Russian youth team, composed of players under 20, achieved a strong -willed victory over peers from Switzerland in the third match of the group stage of the World Cup in Canada .

The meeting ended with a score of 7: 4 in favor of the wards of Valery Bragin, which once distinguished Kirill Marchenko, Dmitry Samorukov, Grigory Denisenko, Kirill Sleepets, Alexander Alekseev, Pavel Sheng and Vitaly Kravtsov. The best player in the meeting was recognized as the goalkeeper of the Russian national team Daniil Tarasov.

In the course of the meeting, the Russians were twice inferior with a difference of two goals, but in the end they managed to turn the course of the match. In the second period, the Switzerland team received the right to two consecutive bullets for two violations of Dmitry Samorukov in one game episode. Both attempts were not realized.

“I am glad that after an unsuccessful beginning the team pulled out the match. The minority worked well again, they scored a goal. There were no weak rivals here. I think it subconsciously relaxed that a friendly game was very easy to have. They warned the guys, but the initial stage did not work out a little,” Valery Bragina quoted the FHR press service quoted.

The Russian national team has 9 points, Canada scored the same number, which leads in group A in terms of additional indicators. Next are the national teams of Switzerland (4 points), the Czech Republic (2) and Denmark (0). Four teams enter the playoffs.
