A resident of Sochi shot his girlfriend near a shopping center and committed [Roskomnadzor]

In Sochi, a man shot his girlfriend near a shopping center, and then returned home and committed [Roskomnadzor], the press service of the Investigative Committee for the Krasnodar Territory told Interfax.

“This afternoon, in a parking lot near one of the Adler shopping centers, a man born in 1981 fired a pistol at his 34-year-old friend, and then disappeared. A woman with a gunshot wound to the chest was hospitalized, but died,” the department reported.

As the public “Emergency Krasnodar” clarifies on Instagram, the incident occurred near the City Plaza shopping center in the Adler district. The man, his common-law wife and her 12-year-old daughter were in the car. At first the couple argued, after which the sounds of gunshots were heard. The woman got out of the car, took a few steps and fell. The girl got scared and ran out of the car, the driver drove away.

The man was later found dead at his home. According to preliminary data, he committed [Roskomnadzor]. A case was opened under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code (murder) and under Part 1 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code (illegal trafficking in weapons).
