In Yaroslavl, law enforcement officers detained the former prisoner Ruslan Vakhapov, who spoke about torture in correctional colony No. 1 (IK-1), the organization “Public Verdict” reports .

Vakhapov was detained when he came to the police to be noted according to the rules prescribed by administrative supervision.

The police refused to let him go from the department and blocked his car. “Now they threaten to deliver Vakhapov to the court and draw up a protocol on disobedience to the legal requirements of the police,” the report said.

According to the lawyer Vakhapov Irina Biryukova, the police officially does not detain her client, but in fact he was blocked in the car and did not make it possible to leave the department, she told MBH Media about this.

“We do not delay you, we recommend that you go to court,” Biryukova quoted the words of the police who blocked Vakhapova's car.

“Vakhapov says that he is afraid of the police because he does not know what power will be applied to him this time,” she said.

According to Biryukova, before that, against Vakhapov, the police drew up a protocol on violation of administrative supervision.

“But Vakhapov did not even think to hide. Supervision was installed at his mother -in -law, at which he cannot live. In this house it is not even registered. Vakhapov several times the policeman informed his address of actual residence, but these data are not accepted, and continue to supervise at the wrong address, ”concluded Biryukova.
