In Ufa, on New Year's holidays, bailiffs interrupted the performance of the Triumph circus tent and handcuffed the performers in front of the spectators because they failed to comply with the legal demands of employees of the regional Office of the FSSP, the Bashinform agency reports with reference to the press service of the department on January 9 .

The incident itself occurred during the show on January 3. On December 19, the Oktyabrsky District Court of Ufa decided to temporarily suspend the work of this traveling circus, but the management of the establishment did not think to implement it and during the New Year holidays continued to gather citizens for the show, a representative of the Federal Bailiff Service told RIA Novosti .

“The bailiffs were doing their job,” the agency’s interlocutor emphasized. “Indeed, during the performance, armed bailiffs entered the circus premises and, in front of the audience, handcuffed the performing artists, explained to them the reason for the detention and took them out of the hall.”

According to eyewitnesses, the bailiffs also “used batons and stun guns in the presence of small children and their parents,” writes Ufa Time . “The children are stressed,” the publication quotes one of the spectators. “The holiday is ruined, why did they allow the sale of tickets, since there is a court decision? Why didn’t they cordon off the building? Why did they allow people with children to go there, the place is not safe?”

According to the Federal Bailiff Service, the next day the circus planned to give a performance again, but the bailiffs parked official cars in front of the entrance to the tent and did not allow either the artists or the townspeople who had bought tickets for the performance into the hall.

“The bailiffs suspended the activities of the circus tent in pursuance of the court’s decision,” the department’s press service reported. “This was done in order to prevent possible tragic consequences for the life and health of spectators, most of whom are children. Against the director of the circus for malicious failure to comply with this According to the court's decision, the service's investigators opened a criminal case."

At the same time, the FSSP warned Ufa residents and guests of the capital of Bashkiria that the circus will be closed and performances canceled until the relevant court decision, which will be officially announced.

After this, the Triumph management decided to simply change its location. On the evening of January 8, a message appeared on the circus’s page on one of the social networks that the tent had temporarily moved to another location, and the next performance would take place on January 9.

However, right before the announced show, bailiffs detained the circus director and forcibly brought him in for questioning. “The inspection showed that the circus tent operates with significant violations of fire safety standards,” said the Federal Bailiff Service. “The materials used to cover the floor inside the building do not meet fire safety requirements. The scenery and stage design are not covered with fire retardant treatment. Rest rooms, office and the lobby are not equipped with a fire alarm system. Fire extinguishers are faulty, there is no evacuation plan for animals, and there is no second evacuation exit for visitors. In general, the building does not have special technical conditions to ensure safety in the event of a fire."

“If a fire starts, tragedy cannot be avoided in such conditions,” the department summed up. Meanwhile, townspeople are asking in the comments when they will get their money back for the interrupted performance.
