Investigators decided not to put on the wanted list of Sergei Mokhnatkin

Employees of the Investigative Committee changed their minds to declare the hospitalized human rights activist Sergei Mokhnatkin, as reported the day before. This was announced by the lawyer Leonid Krikun.

According to him, the investigator previously agreed on the appearance of Mokhnatkin to get acquainted with the materials of the criminal case on the disorganization of the colony on January 23. The human rights activist should be written out of the hospital on January 19.

On the eve of Krikun reported that investigators threaten to put on the wanted list and deliver to the department of Mokhnatkin, who could not come to familiarize themselves with the case materials due to hospitalization.

In 2014, Sergei Mokhnatkin was found guilty of an attack on a policeman during a campaign on Triumphal Square, the court sentenced him to four years in colony. In the summer of 2016, he was added 11 months of imprisonment for insulting the chief of the detachment. On December 2, 2018, the opposition was supposed to be released, but this did not happen because of the new criminal case-about the "disorganization of the activities" of the colony. In addition, the case of disrespect for the court is being investigated in his regard. As a result, Mokhnatkin was released only on December 14.
