
The Moscow City Court upheld the decision to extend the arrest of four more defendants in the “New Greatness” case - Peter Karamzin, Ruslan Kostylenkov, Vyacheslav Kryukov and Dmitry Poletaev, the correspondent of the MBH Media reports from the courtroom.
This morning, the Moscow City Court also upheld the decision of the Dorogomilovsky court, who sent other defendants in the “new greatness” case - Anna Pavlikova, Maria Dubokiv and Maxim Roshchin. They were left under house arrest until March 12.
During the meeting, lawyers first stated that an examination was conducted, which did not reveal extremism.
The defendants in the case of "New Greatness" are accused of creating an extremist community. According to lawyers, the indications for the participants of the organization were given by the full -time employee of the FSB, who consisted in the "New Great" under the pseudonym Ruslan D. according to the testimony of some participants, it was he who proposed to transform the opposition chat into a political movement.
The prosecutor’s office said that they did not find the incitement of the defendants in the case by law enforcement officials. Ruslan D. himself said that he did not work for the special services and did not incite the participants in the organization.
