The Russian satellite Kosmos-2430, which is part of the space segment of the Missile Attack Warning System, has been deorbited. According to the command of the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation, the satellite was brought down according to plan and completely burned out in dense layers of the atmosphere above the territory of the Atlantic Ocean at an altitude of about 100 km, Interfax reports .
Cosmos-2430 was launched on October 23, 2007 from the Plesetsk cosmodrome, it worked as intended until 2012.
