Last year, Barnaul became the “capital of extremism” - several residents of this city at once were attracted to extremism for “wrong pictures” and reposts on the network. Today it became known that the two Barnauls - Maria Motuznaya and Andrei Shasherin - are excluded from the list of extremists and terrorists. Criminal cases have been terminated against them. However, in the same Barnaul, a student Daniil Markin and activist Anton Angel are still waiting for interchanges in his business. They have not yet spread to the presidential amendments on partial decriminalization of 282 articles of the Criminal Code.

Maria Motuznaya told the “new” that her main emotion is now a happy shock. A criminal case in May last year was opened on a motorcycle, a student of the directing department. All because of the preserved memes in VKontakte: the procession goes along the mud and the inscription “Two main troubles of Russia” or the clergyman-“Did you also dream of becoming a businessman in childhood?” Eight months later, the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee for the Region reported that the case of motorcycle was terminated in connection with a change in legislation.

She still does not know anything about the exclusion from the list of “terrorists and extremists”, because she has not used bank accounts for a long time. In October, the girl left Russia first to Ukraine, and then to Lithuania, but there she did not ask for political asylum there. Recall: when it enters the list of Rosfinmonitoring, the suspect in extremism is blocked by all bank accounts, it is forbidden to inherit and perform any operations with their property.

An exception to the list of Rosfinmonitoring does not occur immediately. Andrei Shasherin , a builder from Barnaul, whom the court sent to a compulsory stationary psychiatric examination, says that he communicated with people who passed through the like - often he himself had to call on Rosfinmonitoring and ask for removing his surname from the registry.

- Until I checked the accounts, but it is obvious that the decision was made in absentia, they are not removed so quickly. On December 26, the Investigative Committee issued a decision on the termination of a criminal case on a rehabilitating basis, there is no corpus delicti there. And on December 31, on New Year's Eve, I received a notification of this in the mailbox.

He is judged, for example, for the photo of actor John Snow from the American series “Game of Thrones” with the signature “Verily Risen”.

Recall that since the beginning of 2019, another criminal case for extremism has been closed-in relation to anesthetist doctor Vitaly Zuban from the Khabarovsk Territory, who in 2017 put a “like” post with a xenophobic picture. After the entry into force of new amendments in the 282 article, an administrative punishment will rely on it for the first violation - a fine, compulsory work or arrest. For repeated violation during the year, criminal liability will occur.
