A case was opened against a Muscovite who served three consecutive administrative arrests for participation in a terrorist organization.

21-year-old Moscow resident Islombek Kamalov, who had been under administrative arrest since December 12, was taken to the FSB department for Moscow and the Moscow region. He is suspected of participation in a terrorist organization (Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code). The young man’s lawyer, Timur Idalov, told Mediazona about this.

Kamalov was detained at Vnukovo airport on December 12, he was returning from Turkey, where, according to Idalov, he was on vacation. Then, as the lawyer explains, Kamalov was taken to the Ministry of Internal Affairs department, then to the court, which arrested him for allegedly swearing. On December 17, the day he was released from the special detention center, the young man was arrested again - also for swearing, but at a police station on the other side of the city. 10 days later, Kamalov was abducted from the special detention center with the assistance of police officers by unknown persons; On December 28, he was arrested for the third time - for swearing in the Khamovnichesky Court.

On January 11, Kamalov was supposed to be released after his third administrative arrest. He was taken to the Investigative Committee for questioning regarding the abduction complaint, which was written by his lawyer. From here, as Idalov says, he was taken to the FSB building on Kiselny Lane.

“Now investigator Salekhov called me, inviting me to participate in investigative actions. The case was initiated under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code,” Idalov said. He suggested that intelligence officers “want to achieve results by creating the appearance of fighting terrorism.”
