On December 14, the court sentenced him to three days of arrest for disobedience to police officers with whom he allegedly fought. Three days later, Kamalov was arrested for 10 days under the article on petty hooliganism for swearing on the street. He himself stated that he did not swear.

Human rights activist Lev Ponomarev, who was serving an administrative arrest with him in the same cell, said that Kamalov was repeatedly summoned for interviews by people who were not employees of the special detention center.

On December 27, Kamalov was supposed to be released from custody, but in the morning three men in civilian clothes took him out of the detention center in handcuffs and took him away in an unknown direction. The next day he was arrested for the third time - for swearing in the Khamovniki court.
