Elon Musk's space company SpaceX will lay off 10% of its employees. The organization employs about six thousand people; thus, cuts will affect about six hundred employees.
The company explained the decision by the need to "be humble" in order to continue to serve customers, as well as "succeed in the creation of interplanetary ships and global satellite Internet."
Elon Musk's other company, electric car maker Tesla, announced in June that it was cutting 9% of its workforce to cut costs.
