A participant in protests from Cheboksary, Alena Blinova, left Russia, writes “Idel. Realities."

The activist called the move “forced emigration due to the arrest of children’s accounts and eviction.” Blinova said that at the invitation of her relatives she moved to Cyprus, where she plans to obtain a residence permit with her children.

The woman said that her son’s accounts were repeatedly seized, in particular “in the case of collecting fines for public actions and publications on social networks in the amount of 211 thousand rubles.” The arrests were subsequently lifted.

Blinova added that the bailiffs also seized her daughter’s salary in absentia, which was lifted after a complaint. “In addition, my family was evicted from the apartment in absentia due to debts,” she concluded.

• Alena Blinova is a participant in the “Walks of Free People” and other protest actions. After participating in the “He’s not Dimon for you” rally on March 26, 2017, the woman was fired from the kindergarten for “repeated failure to fulfill her job duties.”
