In Penza, the coordinator of the "Left Front" in the Volga Federal District, Sergei Padalkin, was threatened with physical violence by the head of the regional organization "Combat Brotherhood", deputy director of the Youth Center for Military Patriotic Education, Yuri Krasnov. A recording of a telephone conversation in which an official threatens an activist has been posted on the YouTube channel of the Penza branch of the Left Front. Krasnov, who is also a member of the PMC for the Penza region, rudely and using obscenities threatens the activist. “Listen, you asshole, I read your crazy nonsense. I told you - if I hear somewhere, fucking, in your crazy, crazy, fucking writings about combat veterans, I will tear out everything, fuck, your speaker, ”says the official.

The reason for the call to Padalkin was the article “Penza officials stole benefits from war veterans,” published on the website of the regional branch of the Left Front on January 10. At the same time, the hero of the material, the chairman of the board of the Russian Union of Veterans of Afghanistan, Vladimir Kholzinev, has no complaints about the text.

Padalkin emphasizes that he has every reason to consider Krasnov's threats serious, since he has combat experience and has worked in law enforcement agencies for a long time.

The Left Front intends to seek Krasnov's resignation from the post of deputy director of the youth center and bring him to criminal liability for threats.
