In the Sverdlovsk region, the court canceled the fine of a minor for the action on September 9

The Asbestov City Court of the Sverdlovsk Region canceled the fine for the minor Yelizaveta Morozova for the September 9 rally in Yekaterinburg. This is reported by Wikinews.

Earlier, the girl was fined 10 thousand rubles, having been found guilty of violating the rules of the action (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

At the meeting, the prosecutor demanded that the administrative penalty be left in place. The girl drew attention to the fact that she did not participate in the action and came to Yekaterinburg to her sister. As a result, the court found no offense in Morozova's actions and canceled the fine.

During the trial, two officials from the Ministry of Public Security of the Sverdlovsk Region were also interrogated.

According to Wikinews, on September 9 they recognized Morozova among the supporters of Alexei Navalny. In their explanations, the newspaper notes, the ministry officials called the girl a participant in the action and indicated her last name, first name and patronymic.

The Commission on Juvenile Affairs in Yekaterinburg rejected their statements, doubting that officials were able to identify several dozen people they did not know and determine their personal data.

Later, the case was transferred to Morozova's place of residence - to Asbest. The local juvenile commission agreed with the officials' explanations and fined the girl.
