Cybersecurity specialists will be able to try their hand at hacking Tesla electric vehicles at the annual Pwn2Own competition in Vancouver (Canada).

The electric vehicle maker launched a program to reward customers for discovering vulnerabilities in its software in 2014, a common practice in the technology market but rare in the auto business. “The situation is changing as more cars are connected to the Internet, making them vulnerable to hacking,” explains Bloomberg.
