In the Irkutsk region, a serial maniac was detained

The police detained a native of the city of Tulun of the Irkutsk region on suspicion of a series of rape. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee on the region.

The involvement of a man in committed crimes was confirmed by DNA examination.

The attacks were made in 2001-2012. In total, 11 people were injured, including minors.

As the UK installed, the maniac took people to deserted places, and, threatening with a knife, raped them, after which he took his personal belongings.

The detainee was charged with the articles “Rape” and “Sexual’s violent actions”.
