The Ministry of Justice will submit amendments to the law “On Public Associations” aimed at systematizing information on non -profit organizations that are not legal entities.
The agency noted that without such information there are problems in the event of “submitting applications to the court on compensation for harm caused in the framework of civil proceedings and making an application for a ban on activities” of the NPO.
What kind of information will have to inform the organization about themselves without a legal entity is not specified. The Ministry of Justice said that NPOs will have to post “Notifications of the creation and reports of their activities” on the Internet. Kommersant indicates that organizations will have to provide information about the full name, managers and location.
According to the officials of the Ministry of Justice, only after the publication of the NPO notification will have all the rights. Kommersant notes that a similar procedure is provided for NPOs in the status of a “foreign agent”.
