In German Rupolding, a male sprint race previously moved due to the bad weather as part of the fifth stage of the Biathlon World Cup. The victory in it was won by the leader of this season - Norwegian Johannes Be.

The winner overcame a 10-kilometer distance with two fire borders in 22 minutes 56.3 seconds, allowing one miss. For Be, this victory has already become the eighth in the season.

Johannes for 7.9 seconds ahead of his brother Tariy Bea, who shot cleanly and did not run a penalty circle. The third place in the sprint was taken by the German Benedict Dolle (+10.5; 1).

The best of the Russians, Alexander Loginov, with one miss, took fifth place (+26.1). He was also ahead of the French biathlete Marten Fourcade, who extended his series without prizes to six races.

“The race is good, but I am a little dissatisfied with the work on the plain part. I lost a lot on the plains, but it is good that it turned out to work on the ascents.
