In Pskov, Open Russia coordinator Leah Milushkina and her husband Artem Milushkin were charged with selling drugs on a large scale (part 4 of article 228.1 of the Criminal Code). This is reported by MBKh Media with reference to their lawyer Tatyana Martynova.
Milushkina pleaded not guilty.
The spouses were detained on the morning of January 17. The court on choosing a preventive measure is due on January 18.
On November 4, 2018, Artem Milushkin was detained on his way to a rally against police brutality and corruption. Leah filmed the detention on video - people without uniforms were wringing her husband's hands and trying to handcuff him.
Then, according to the activist, one of the employees told him: “I will tell everyone that now you are only accepted like that. And next time you will have ten grams (meaning drugs - approx.) in your pocket.
