A biology teacher who beat a fifth-grader was suspended from work at a Tolyatti school

At school No. 93 in Tolyatti, a biology teacher was suspended from work during an internal inspection after a conflict with a fifth-grader. This is reported on the website of the educational institution. The Investigative Committee for the Samara Region also began an investigation into the beating of a schoolgirl by a teacher.

The teacher was suspended following an emergency meeting on January 17 with the participation of acting. O. Head of the Department of Education of the Togliatti Administration Larisa Lebedeva, school management and teachers, as well as parents of students.

“Under any circumstances, the actions of the teacher in the administration of the educational institution and the Department of Education are considered unacceptable,” the message says.

According to the Investigative Committee, the teacher used force on the girl and struck her several times. The circumstances of the incident are being established.

A video of the incident appeared on social networks on January 16. In a comment to the post, the author said that the schoolgirl was drawing in class, for which the teacher threw her school supplies off the table, slapped her in the face, and then began to choke her.

“Are you crazy?” - says the girl. “I am yes!” — the teacher answers, continuing to hold the child by the neck.

In November 2018, in the Khabarovsk Territory, a teacher forcibly took a student into the corridor and beat him on the head with her hands. According to the parents of the students, a teacher with 24 years of experience, Tatyana Leskova, became angry with the boy who was interfering with the lesson. After the incident, the teacher was temporarily suspended from work.

Earlier, in the city of Asino, Tomsk Region, the police opened a criminal case after a teacher hit a student’s head on a desk. She decided to punish the student for being distracted from the textbook.

In St. Petersburg, a student from school No. 111 received a concussion after the teacher hit him on the head with a book for fooling around with a classmate during a German lesson.
