A participant in the “unlimited protest” from Naberezhnye Chelny was arrested for eight days

A court in Naberezhnye Chelny arrested Karim Yamadayev, a participant in the "indefinite protest", for eight days, according to the Telegram channel "Indefinitely Kazan".

He was found guilty under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for holding a public event). The channel's recording does not specify on which part of the article the activist was charged and which court ruled.

According to Indefinite Kazan, Yamadayev erected a "monument to political prisoners", after which he was detained. There are no photographs of the monument and no explanation of what it looked like in the channel.

The report also reports that from the moment of his arrest at 9:15 am until 5:00 pm, Yamadayev “was not allowed to drink and call his relatives.”

UPD 21:50 The decision to arrest Yamadayev was made by the Naberezhnye Chelny City Court. The case card on the court's website says that he was found guilty under part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (organization of an uncoordinated event).
