Open Russia activists in Kazan and Rostov-on-Don were searched

The members of Open Russia Elsa Nisanbekova in Kazan and Anton Prikhodko in Rostov-on-Don were searched. This was reported to OVD-Info by Alexey Pryanishnikov, coordinator of the Human Rights Postcards.

According to him, it is not yet clear in what cases the searches are carried out. Pryanishnikov said that Prikhodko was "breaking down the door."

UPD 9:38 In Rostov-on-Don, the police and two men in civilian clothes came to activists Olga and Irina Zenin. The women did not open the door. Elena Menshenina, who was also visited by law enforcement officers, now does not get in touch. This was reported to OVD-Info by a participant in the movement Maxim Rudenko.

According to him, the police came to three addresses at the same time - at 7:30.

The search at Elsa Nisanbekova's house in Kazan is being carried out as part of a criminal case against Anastasia Shevchenko, a member of the Federal Council of Open Russia, reports Pryanishnikov. There is no connection with Shevchenko.

UPD January 22 As part of this criminal case, on January 21, a search took place at the home of Nikolai Kladovoy. In the past, he was a member of Open Russia in Rostov-on-Don. The fact that the man's house was searched became known only the next day, writes the telegram channel of Open Russia.

The pantry is a witness in the case. During the search, his equipment and personal belongings were confiscated.
