The chairman of Open Russia, Andrey Pivovarov , told 7×7 that Semenovsky received a call from the police before his arrest:
They said they wanted to talk about the fact of his appeal to the police: he wrote a statement a long time ago, a year ago, about the beating. He got into the car with them, he was detained, and since then communication with him has disappeared. Our lawyers do it. He was told that the department would inform about the reasons for the detention. We keep the situation under control, now lawyers will figure out what it is.
UPD 22:00 In the Pskov province telegram channel , they wrote that Semenovsky has not been in contact for six hours, relatives and friends do not know where the man is.
“His brother said that he [Semenovsky - OVD-Info ] left the house for five minutes almost in slippers and managed to report the arrest and that he was being taken to Oktyabrsky Prospekt, 48. After that, his phone was switched off” , the channel says.
