A protester against “garbage reform” was detained again in Tyumen

In Tyumen, Alexander Leontiev, a participant in a protest against the "garbage reform", was detained again. This was reported to OVD-Info by his defender Nikolai Vtorushin.

Leontyev was brought to police department No. 4. The detention is related to an administrative case under part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (interference with transport infrastructure).

The report on the man was drawn up because of the action held by the participants of the “indefinite protest”: activists blocked the road in protest against the reform, according to which from January 1, 2019, the procedure for charging and the cost of garbage collection services will change in the country.

Because of this, Leontiev was already detained on January 19. He spent the police until the morning of January 21, after which the man was released.
