Yesterday , the Russians said the decisive “no” for the treacherous plans of Japan according to the creeping of the seizure of the islands of the Kuril ridge. Well, maybe not all Russians. According to the calculations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, about 500 people came to Suvorovskaya Square in Moscow. The organizers say that the rally participants were four times more. The organizers are dear, solid people: the movement "Novorossiya" by Igor Strelkov, "Communists of Russia" by Maxim Suraykin, "another Russia" by Eduard Limonov. Plus the mysterious organization "Stalinsky Regiment". They will not lie! Two - so two. Not a question!
Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin, instead of the transfer of the Kuril Islands of Japan, had long lost all his many positions and attention of the press, to return to Russia "the lost capital of our ancient Rus' - Kyiv" and "surrounding the lands". At this moment, it was necessary to turn on the sunbeam, but the organizers did not guess to do this.
The journalists who observed the event unanimously say that the most popular requirement of the audience was the slogan "Government to resign!". And what else remains for them? On the one hand, Vladimir Putin the leader and “sovereign”, on the other, his contacts with Japan on the Kuril problem are too similar to bargaining so as not to notice this. How to fit it in one head? To blame everything on Medvedev! Like, I circled around the finger of the gullible sovereign on the instructions of the "world backstage"!
On the first request, the insidious American Google gives a whole pile of links on the topic "Medvedev and Kurille". Two thousand living and dead souls, frozen on Suvorovskaya Square, go, with God -dimensional search engines are disdained, and computers prefer accounts from Russian birches. Well, we will do it for them ... Let's start with the half -forgotten time of the Medvedev presidency. After the August armed conflict with Georgia in 2008 and the recognition of the independence of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, President Medvedev spent a lot of effort and time on explanatory work in Europe and the USA. As a result, Russia managed to avoid international isolation. Barack Obama, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Steve Jobs were the best friends of Medvedev, and the Euroborcrates and leaders of influential European countries spoke about the possibility of Russians visually "visually in the foreseeable future." In these conditions, Japan could not be ceremony. The exceptional flexibility of Medvedev in the western direction needed the counterweight - wide steps that would demonstrate power in the east.
In November 2010, Medvedev’s first visit to the island of Kunashir took place. “There will be a better life. Such as in the center of Russia!” Medvedev promised the Kurilsk residents . “We are interested in people staying here. It is important that there is development here, we will definitely invest money here!” Looking forward, I will say: Medvedev held his word. “Japan is convinced that these four islands are part of its territory, so President Medvedev’s visit is worthy of regret,” the then Japanese Prime Minister Natot Kan immediately responded , and the head of the Japanese Foreign Ministry told the Russian ambassador that Medvedev’s behavior “painfully wounds the feelings of the Japanese people.” But he did not calm down, even after he lost his presidential chair to Putin.
In the summer of 2012, Medvedev returned to Kunashir and said: "This is our land, indigenous! We won’t give it to a heel, absolutely. Why is it suddenly? The one who gave at least a small patch of his land, as a rule, provoked a storm. It all ends with the collapse of the state. This is a very dangerous thing." Medvedev instructed the implementation of infrastructure projects on the islands and promised the Kurilsk people even more money. And again he did not deceive.
The next surge in Medvedev’s activity fell on the Day of the State Flag in 2015, when Putin disappeared from the zone of public visibility for the second time. The first disappearance of the president for 10 days in March caused great concern, but in August, few people already noticed his 5-day absence, although during this time Putin managed to "skip" the state holiday and negotiations in the Norman format. And Medvedev did not lose time for nothing! He again visited the Kuril Islands, where, together with participants in the All -Russian Youth Educational Forum, Iturup deployed a cyclopic tricolor and signed a resolution that increases the area of Russian shelf by 50 thousand square kilometers. "The weight of this visit is significantly different from trips of other ministers. And this act hurts the feelings of the inhabitants of Japan who want to return their territories," said the Foreign Minister of Japan Fumio Kisid and refused the planned visit to Moscow. “We treat Japan well, but this should not be connected with the Kuril Islands, which are part of Russia,” Medvedev reminded him. “We visited, visit and we will visit the Kurils!”
"Benefice of the personality" in the country's leadership on the Kuril issue is easiest to interpret as an element of the political struggle between Medvedev and Putin
In 2016, Putin, who returned into line, began the negotiation marathon, which in Japan is perceived as "discussing the conditions of the return of the northern territories." Against this background, the actions of the head of government in the Japanese direction look at least defiant. Back in 2015, after the visit of Medvedev, the Kunashir and Iturup islands were deployed by the TOR-M2U anti-aircraft missile systems. In 2016, the Bastion and Ball complexes were added to them. And at the beginning of 2018, Medvedev signed a decree that turns Iturup into a double -base airfield - now military aircraft will be located there.
Another scandalous initiative of the government is a demonstrative appropriation of the Kuril ridge of the Russian military names that distinguished themselves in the war with Japan. The official protest of the Japanese government forced the Kremlin to make excuses . It looked like the Demarch of the Prime Minister, aimed at disrupting the agreement of Putin and Sinzo Abe on the "joint use of the islands", which is difficult to evaluate differently than pre-sale training. In the summer of 2017, the first landing of Japanese officials and businessmen led by adviser to the Prime Minister of Japan landed on the Kuril Islands. Then was the second. And the third. And on the same days, during a working trip to the Sakhalin Region, Medvedev signed a decree on the creation of the territory of advanced socio-economic development (Toser) in the village of Malokurilsky on the island of Shikotan, closest to Japan by the Russian settlement. Without any "joint development".
"The total volume of private investments should amount to at least 10 billion rubles. The planned revenues to the budget until 2026 from taxes and fees are more than 5.8 billion, the contribution to the gross regional product of the Sakhalin Region from the implementation of the TOSED project is about 5.2 billion," the decree said . Earlier, Medvedev stated that for Russia the best investor is the one that “came first”, and he, South Korean or Japanese, is not important.
Such a “split personality” in the country's leadership on the Kuril issue is easiest to interpret as an element of the political struggle between Medvedev and Putin. If desired, you can find a long list of cats that regularly run between them. It is enough to recall the UN resolution on Libya, the approval of which President Medvedev resulted in an open skirmish with Prime Minister Putin. But even if you sacredly believe in the myth that Medvedev is “his faithful servant”, it will not work to dump him “smoking”. It can only be assumed that Medvedev plays the role of an evil policeman in the Kremlin performance, so that the Japanese cherish Putin's advisability more. On the other hand, government sabotage is an excellent occasion not to fulfill the obligations. In any case, it turns out that the defenders smoked from Suvorovskaya Square do not know what they are doing and what they demand. And the people are silent, because geopolitics prefers the economy. And he does it right!
