Travnikov met with President of Belarus Lukashenko

The development of bilateral cooperation between the Novosibirsk region and Belarus was discussed at a meeting with Alexander Lukashenko, the mayor of Novosibirsk Anatoly Lokot and the governor of the region Andrei Travnikov. The head of state called the region one of the most promising economic partners of the country in Siberia.

“Your region is one of the most promising economic partners in Siberia,” Lukashenko emphasized, speaking about the importance of developing relations between the Novosibirsk Region and the Republic of Belarus. He also stated that the basis of bilateral interaction is a long -standing friendly, related relationship between people and a high level of fruitful cooperation.

“Belarusian entrepreneurs are conducting a successful business in the Novosibirsk region, you regularly have fairs from our country, our food, shoes, textiles, and furniture are in great demand,” the President of Belarus emphasized. He also noted the successes of the Russian-Belarusian joint venture in Novosibirsk to modernize trams and the demand in the Novosibirsk region of the Belarusian elevator equipment. According to the head of state, there are serious prospects for cooperation in the aviation sector, the Belarusian side is ready to connect to the development of agriculture.

Andrei Travnikov, in turn, noted that among the main goals of the current visit of the representative Novosibirsk delegation to Belarus - summing up the results of a three -year cooperation program and developing plans for a new period. In the course of the work of the Novosibirsk delegation, 13 agreements were signed in the republic, the next meeting of the Business Cooperation Cooperation Council was held between the Novosibirsk Region and the Republic of Belarus, a visit to the Mogilev region was held to discuss joint activities for the implementation of the cooperation agreement between the Novosibirsk Region and the Mogilev region.
