The Ministry of Transport of Russia did not receive letters about a difficult situation in the field of car transportation of agricultural products, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the press service of the ministry.

“Until now, the specified letter to the Ministry of Transport of Russia has not been received,” the ministry said.

Earlier, the National Association of Cargo Road Transport "Gruzavtotrans" published open letters addressed to the Russian government, ministries of transport and agriculture, and the Federal Antimonopoly Service. Carriers indicated to the authorities the problems of low prices for their services, unfair competition and corruption schemes. About 70% of carriers participate in strikes in the Rostov, Volgograd, Voronezh, Samara, Saratov regions, Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories.
