Julia Tymoshenko was officially nominated as a candidate for the presidency of Ukraine at the Batkivshchina Congress

January is an ideal month for Ukrainian political symbolists: many worthy dates. And each of the potential presidential candidates is free to choose your own day in history in order, so to speak, to attach to the process.

Christmas was “occupied” by Petro Poroshenko, who, together with the new head of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, received a Tomos in Istanbul. Organizing something worldly to baptism is a mistake. But the centenary of the “Act of Zluki”, that is, the reunification of the central and western parts of the country into the Cathedral Independent State, turned out to be just right for the “Fatherland” congress, which had the second name - the Unity forum. A century later, the fatal tendency of the National Democrats towards mutual betrayal, the Ataman and the destruction of the results of joint efforts has not gone anywhere.

Therefore, the message was read easily: only Yulia Tymoshenko can rise above the vanity for the sake of the highest goal.

I ask you to forgive for a comparison of the famous politician with the missionaries of the charismatic churches, not for the first time. The hall of the Kyiv Sports Palace, which accommodated its own maximum, 10 thousand people - delegates of the congress and activists of the party, cried, applied, chanted and laughed with happiness and love almost the same as on the sessions of the mass removal of damage and curses. "I believe!" - Typical, blue with yellow font, rhythmically flew over the rows. Of course, on the posters it was “I believe in Ukraine!”, But Ukraine was lost behind the capital “Yu” ... The “sights” of the television cameras fell into the face of Julia in the figure of Griffel, then the slogans designed to emphasize the scale of the meeting: “Sumy for Tymoshenko!”, “Nevzhin demands change!”, “Chernivtsi with Julia!”, As at the peaceful stage of the next Maidan. The deputies of the parliamentary faction in the Rada and the VIP was sitting to shoulder, some of which, like Vladimir Seminozhenko, ex-vice-prime minister of the Azarov government, could have joined Julia, except under hypnosis.

Before the start of the event, the clockwork guys in blue and yellow sweatshirts and caps warmed up the audience: they taught to clap in the right places, handed out flags for waving. Could not try.

Experience has always told the leader of the "Fatherland" the necessary tonality and image: the cherry of the clan and the people, the mocking seducer, the business woman, the impudent politicalzechka, the statesman-to put the point early.

The next day, these gentlemen in different ways of categorical form refuted the statement that they campaigned precisely for Tymoshenko, and not for the free and conscious choice of Ukrainians in general. Believers in the "Fatherland" refuted ignored: "Book, intimidated, sunk, as always!"

The culmination of emotions came to a mini-film about the family of a presidential candidate and a speech from the stage of the daughter of a presidential candidate. Her exclamation "Mom will not let you down!" After the recognition that of the closest only the baby Eve, the granddaughter of Julia Vladimirovna, is not present at the congress for respectful reasons and does not experience involvement in the event, could be considered a bust, or even a bear’s service from the scriptwriters. But people close to the organizers assure: there were consultations, these are American standards - the campaign of Trump, Hillary and others, it works. No wonder Kravchuk called Tymoshenko a "master of human studies." Groups of raasted elderly people-under Yanukovych, in the heat and cold, they remained on Khreshchatyk, in tents, demanding freedom to Julia, were on duty under the gates of the Kachanovskaya colony, under the barred windows of the hospital in Kharkov-are now ready to join voluntary agitators, which are now coming from home to the house, but to give the rest of their lives. I am sure: they will also shoot a motivating video about them!

What will agitators carry home? Folunt "New Economic Course" and a simpler document, a certain "Agreement of presidential candidate Tymoshenko with citizens of Ukraine."

The obligations listed in the column - for example, reduce the price of gas by double, and the salary pensions, on the contrary, are 3.5 times, etc., with the signature of the future guarantor. The voter who believes signs the paper, one copy leaves himself for control, gives the second ... stronger than the polls, a thing!

“If in the first hundred days I will not be able to break the old system, I will not be able to show you the results, I will just leave the presidential position,” the party leader gave the floor.

Of the promises, such were remembered. Rewrite the Constitution, moreover, to be in time before the elections in the Rada in the fall of 2019 (the question will be brought to the All -Ukrainian referendum immediately after the inauguation), to reduce the number of people's deputies by a third, but to places to give maximum rights and capabilities:

- The communities will be able to completely dispose of the land. There will be no land outside the communities. Prefects will control the regions.

- ... All working Ukrainians will get the opportunity to buy apartments, take a mortgage loan without a first fee. And to pay not in five years, but for a period of ten to twenty years. And better up to thirty! - Tymoshenko, as it is customary to write, blew up the hall.

They clapped the statement "We immediately become a member of NATO!"

True, ex-minister of foreign affairs Boris Tarasuk, a long-standing and consistent fighter for integration with the Alliance, had a puzzled look: “immediately depended not only on the desire of Kyiv. Speaking about Russian aggression, the annexation of Crimea and the occupation of Donbass, the politician concluded:

- The Kremlin is interested in our devastation, corruption and chaos. Today's Ukrainian authorities are doing everything for this. Therefore, it is the current power - the hand of the Kremlin and the servant of Moscow.
