Septic tanks of Srednekolymsk were not pumped out in time, they were overflowing and spilled, fecal waters froze. Based on the results of the examination over the past two months, sewage poured the territory of 12 apartment buildings and the Middle Kolya District Hospital. There is practically no removal of solid household waste. "In the spring, sewage can threaten the occurrence of a critical sanitary and epidemiological situation," Dmitry Sadovnikov, Minister of Housing and Public Utilities and Energy, said during the meeting.

At the same time, septic tanks in multi -apartment buildings are listed as ownerless, supervisory authorities write down instructions and fines to the local administration.

For its part, the company IP "Novoseltsev A.A." She reported to the ministry that claims to her activities are unfounded. Water disposal work was performed in full, and the problem is caused by the critical condition of sewer networks and septic tanks. According to Shaborshin, claims to the company arose in 2017. She did not fulfill her duties on the transportation of waste, and in December 2017, tore an agreement with the municipality unilaterally. The administration had to attract another organization for garbage and liquid household waste, which worked until October 2018. In November, the administration announced a competition to determine the service organization, and it was won by IP "Novoseltsev A.A.".

According to the results of the meeting, the minister recommended the local administration to consider the introduction of emergency regimen in the city. The population of Srednekolymsk is about 3.4 thousand people.
