In my childhood, all the boys dreamed of a moped. My father promised me to buy it, but somehow it did not work out, then some unforeseen expenses, then others. And I already had my own money in the sixth grade, I sold different radio equipment and sold it. The only problem was to legalize the money earned, since the father was of communist views and "hack" from the child could not accept in principle.
I already had several Velikov, I like they collected them in parts in the garbage dumps. And so I decided to crank the same thing with the moped so that my father would not mind (my mother understands perfectly well where I have great).
I went to Alik's friend to the Taiga store and bought a moped “Riga 22” for 220 rubles. Saleswriters in the store asked us something, where did the children come from, we lied something, I don’t remember, but we bought a moped. We take it out of the store, it is without gasoline, so you have to roll it home through the whole city in turn with Alik. But God, I still remember how happiness it was, not to go on a moped, but to roll it in the heat along the side of the concrete, dodging the numbbes and signaling Magirus and Tatra, just anticipating future trips on this tiny motorcycle.
I have no illusions about the USSR, it was shitty shit. And I do not confuse my happy children's memories that everyone has, with that former system in the country. But I still literally trudge from those memories
Mom understood everything on the move, but there was no time, as always, well, the eldest son of the moped gathered, it means good (that the moped is completely new, he did not even notice). At first, I had to store the moped in the apartment, for which I had to raise it on the elevator to the fifth floor, which was not easy, but incredibly pleasant. The moped was in my school at this age the only one, it was for happiness to ride it, so I became incredibly popular ... and the subject for claims. This moped wanted to take away a lot of people from me, so I had to literally cut it for it. Thanks to friends, Alik, Yurz, Bukharik, defended.
Later I had other mopeds and motorcycles, but this first, of course, was remembered. When I already became a student and studied in Tomsk, once, having arrived in my Nizhnevartovsk in the summer, I went fishing on this old man, spitting on cars. Just to remember childhood. The moped did not let me down, I brought me back and forth, although I already gained a considerable weight.
My first horse ...
I have no illusions about the USSR, it was shitty shit. And I do not confuse my happy children's memories that everyone has, with that former system in the country. But I still literally trudge from the memories of how I traveled on mopes and motorcycles for fishing. Childhood, early morning, fresh breeze in the face, smells, beauty. But ... narrow concrete, roaring trucks, at any time that can smear your liver on asphalt. And I was just lucky that I survived on those trips.
