In the Moscow region of Khimki, a teacher who provoked the beating of a boy by first-graders resigned, TASS reports with reference to the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Moscow Region, Ksenia Mishonova.

“Psychologists are working with the child, he has severe psychological trauma and bruises, he was in the hospital for four days,” she said.

Earlier on January 29, Moscow Region Today reported that children beat up a school student in Khimki I.

“It turned out that I. fell during a physical education lesson, after which the teacher told the children: “Today is cannibal day. Who wants human meat? You can saw off his leg!” All the children attacked I. and began to beat him,” said the child’s father, Ilya, adding that doctors diagnosed the boy with a concussion.

The teacher explained her behavior as an attempt to establish discipline and a bad joke. Mishonova said that the teacher could not explain why she behaved this way. “Moscow Region Today” clarifies that she wrote a letter of resignation of her own free will.
