Senator Arashukov's father was detained in St. Petersburg

The father of Raul Arashukov, suspected of involvement in the murders of Senator Rauf Arashukov, was detained today in St. Petersburg in one of the Gazprom offices. This is reported by Interfax . TASS clarifies that investigative actions are being carried out in the case of embezzlement of 10 billion rubles.

Raul Arashukov is an adviser to the general director of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz LLC, a deputy of the People's Assembly of Karachay-Cherkessia. Since the late 1990s, he has been the head of several branches of Mezhregiongaz LLC (later Gazprom Mezhregiongaz LLC), including the Stavropol and Pyatigorsk branches, RBC notes .

Earlier, the security forces detained Senator Rauf Arashukov. The Federation Council agreed to this in connection with the murders of the leader of the Adyge-Khase movement Aslan Zhukov and presidential candidate Fral Shebzukhov.
