Peskov answered words about the "cold" Russian-Ukrainian world

There is no war between Russia and Ukraine-only events on the Ukrainian territory provoked by its own authorities, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said, commenting on the words about the “cold” Russian-Ukrainian world.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko previously stated that the country needs a “cold, but peace” with Russia.

“Firstly, there is no war between Russia and Ukraine. There is a civil war in Ukraine, there are events in Ukraine that are provoked by the authorities in Kiev and which, in fact, led to the formation of these two republics in the southeast of the country, ” RIA Novosti quoted Peskova.

The representative of the Kremlin added that “there is also a series of continuing provocations that lead to the discharge of tension on the contact line, there are consequences for the socio-economic situation in these two republics related to the policies of the Kyiv authorities, namely, the policies of Ukraine’s rejection of these two republics”.

According to him, the “power coup that took place in Kyiv” has many more consequences. Peskov emphasized that Russia and Ukraine are “two neighboring countries, these are two fraternal people”, but it is impossible to give a positive assessment these events.

Recall that President Poroshenko said that he intends to end the war for five years, as well as increase the standard of living of the population. At the end of 2018, Poroshenko signed the law on the termination of the agreement on friendship, cooperation and partnership between Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
