Analyzes during pregnancy showed: the child is healthy, no pathologies. The birth was long , Olesya asked Caesarean, but they answered her that there was no testimony: “You will give birth yourself, now we will squeeze it out .”

Timur was “squeezed out” in late evening m. And immediately carried away, running. Mom said that in intensive care. It turned out that due to a lack of oxygen during the birth, Timur had atrophy of cells of both hemispheres of the brain. This led to numerous neurological disorders in the work of a small body. But in two months that Timur was in intensive care, no one explained to Olesa what was happening to him. She was allowed to him every day - but only for an hour. How she survived these days, what was the rest of the time, which mother usually spends on caring for the newborn, no longer recognizes - Olesya does not show emotions.

“We have bad forecasts, frankly. MRI shows that he has empty in the frontal and occipital lobes. The cells died out. Everything is affected, except for the barrel, ” Olesya explains, stroking Timur on her back.

Listening to his mother's voice, Timur again says: "Agu." Then he clings to her finger - and she raises his hand up. He stretches - and for him this is a huge achievement. Olesya also did not dream of this either: especially after Timur arrived home after resuscitation, moved away from sedatives and began to scream.

"He needs to go to the hospital"

Timur shouted day and night. He screamed when Olesya touched him. He screamed when she tried to feed him. He almost did not sleep at all: “He was straight, like a stick, he didn’t bend at all, like ordinary children, he was in constant tension, if he fell asleep, he shuddered and woke up almost immediately.” Parents who did not understand what to do, where to run and from whom to ask what was happening to their son was not sleeping.

When the doctors arrived, the police stood behind them and watched what was happening here. And here is the horror of what was happening. "

The ambulance and the police came twice in three days. For the second time, the head from the children's clinic arrived with the ambulance. She insisted that the child should be taken to the hospital, that Timur is a palliative patient.

Olesya refused the hospital. The head threatened the guardianship - the doctors from the ambulance had to calm her down, they explained that there was no point in taking a child to the hospital. Silent police officers did not intervene - they simply described the apartment and the situation in the protocols.

When Olesya came to the clinic after a couple of days, she again saw the manager and other doctors: “They stood over me and Timur - four or five aunts - and worshiped:“ He needs to go to the hospital, we will not help him ... ”It turns out that doctors do not really know what cereal is?”

"My generator of ideas"

When asked if Olesya and her husband wanted to find out who was to blame, the accident or someone’s negligence, she replies: “No.” Disassembly with medical facilities that are not short and easy, there are no time and effort that is most important to devote to the son.

“I can’t talk about some abstract matters now, lose heart or lose heart,” says Olesya. - I am a logist by profession, I have a technical education, so I approach the problem technically. They gave me a difficult task - I need to solve it. Timur in this sense is my generator of ideas, keeps me in good shape. ” After a pause, he adds: "He himself is in hypertonus, and it does not allow me to relax."

Therefore, Olesya turned one of the indoor doors into a board, on which everything that cannot be missed and must be considered, and then either removed or circle into a circle as important. Olesya is immersed in the topic of cerebral palsy and is constantly looking for new information: even signed up in the library, where she takes books on neurology and anatomy. And once she went into a group of mothers with disabilities on Facebook.

“I read it for a long time: here, they have children sit, here, such a roller should be placed so that it was convenient, but it was amazing to me how they did it. Timur did not sit at all, I had no thoughts to try to plant him, ” Olesya recalls. - Yes, and how to do it at all? When I asked about it, I was recommended to contact a “confident beginning”. Somewhere in July last year it was-I turned, and we were taken. If it weren’t for this, Timur would probably have only been lying with his head turned right. ”

Classes with a consultant on early intervention under the confident beginning program are held twice a week. “We have been engaged in only six months, and the result is obvious,” says Olesya. “Timur and I became much more convenient and calmer together.” Timur is already slowly sitting with support, turns his head in all directions and does not cry with pain when swallowing. Properly selected poses allow the child to relax and be open to perception and training. This gives an impetus to its development.

The consultant on early intervention, Maria Misochenko, taught Olesa to take her son in her arms, feed, bathe, dress and do much more. “Timur as a whole became more relaxed, although the tension has not gone anywhere. It just became smaller, ”says Maria. - Thanks to this, he began to include more often in what is happening in the classroom, to keep attention longer during the game. It seems to me that the interaction between Olesya and Timur has become more coordinated, they began to understand each other much better. ”

The program “Confident Propes” is now 90 babies up to three years old with different motor disorders or violations in two or more areas of development at once . During classes, the consultant helps the child in the development of the necessary skills - from large and fine motor skills to interaction with other people - and teaches this to parents. For each child, specialists make up an individual program, because all cases are completely different. The specialist comes home - in familiar conditions for a child, it is easier to find contact with him and give parents recommendations to improve development conditions.

Olesya knows that children's cerebral paralysis is forever. That Timur will never run and jump like other children. But life with cerebral palsy can be very different. And the sooner you start doing the right thing, the better and easier it will be later.
