"The locals cursed us." The student tells how she was frauded to meet in support of the garbage training ground from Moscow

On January 29, a meeting was held in the village of Urdom, the Arkhangelsk Region, at which they discussed the construction of the ShIES eco -tech park on the border with the Komi Republic. Everything was supposed to look like another presentation to local residents of an environmentally friendly object for storing Moscow garbage. The Vesti Pomerania television channel on the evening of the same day showed the plot in which residents were interested in new jobs, and officials and representatives of the developer told how many new hospitals, roads and bridges would be built in the Lensky district. The project was represented by an official, developer and investor: Minister of Natural Resources of the Arkhangelsk Region Alexander Narolik, Deputy General Director of Technopark LLC Denis Sinelnikov and Zvodokanal Niyproekt, George Perelshtein.

When the meeting just began, the local resident Nikolai Viktorov wrote in the Urdom Online group on the VKontakte social network that they conduct a meeting in the House of Culture, which they want to draw up as public hearings. People immediately pulled themselves up to the building, but the police and people in civilian clothes did not let them in. Viktorov managed to penetrate the house of culture through the back door - climbing into the cinema booth, he begin to shoot what is happening. Outside, local residents were protested and tried to break into the meeting. About an hour after the start in the hall, electricity turned off. The meeting quickly turned off.

Since the beginning of August, residents of Urdoma have been protesting against the construction of the training ground, where millions of tons of garbage from Moscow should bring. Therefore, for the presentation, 200 people were specially brought to the village, who were supposed to demonstrate loyalty. A quarter of them arrived on buses from Syktyvkar. Student Irina Kravchenko told MBH Media, how and why she came to a meeting in Urdom. After the meeting, she published a post on the VKontakte social network , where she said that she and part of the other participants were simply deceived. The girl apologized to the inhabitants of Urdom and asked the readers to be more vigilant, so as not to fall into such situations. In response, the girl received thanks and insults.

"I have always been for nature, why live in a trash?"

- A friend called me, and a classmate called her. From him we learned that we, from the Arkhangelsk region, are going to import garbage to us, to us, from the Arkhangelsk region, there will be a rally, and we will be able to oppose this. I had a free day, and I agreed. Moreover, I have always been to nature, for my republic, why live in a garbage dump? About the fact that the landfill is being built on Shies, I have not even heard. We were not told that we were going to Urdom, they only said that in the Arkhangelsk region. The day before I specified with my friend, we’re going or not, whether money is needed for the road. She said that everything is completely free, and that she would capture tea in thermos and sandwiches. On January 29, at five in the morning we came to the Syktyvkar railway station and entered the building. There were already some men. Then one of them, who led everyone, showed the minibuses that expected us, there were three - two white and one blue. Near them stood a woman who noted us, it was necessary to name the name, surname and year of birth. We also had a passport with us, we were warned that they might need it. Each bus had 20 people, all of us were 50-60 people.

We left at six. The man who led the trip warned that if at the DPS posts they ask us where we are going, we must answer what is the watch, work. I thought that rallies were simply prohibited, and most importantly, to get and express my point of view. I slept almost all the way. When they got to the crossing through Vychegda, already in front of Urdoma, I took out the phone. The sun recently stood up, it was very beautiful, and I began to shoot. I lead my Instagram and love beautiful landscapes, constantly take a picture of nature, people.

"Do not go there, they want to substitute you!"

- When we arrived in Urdom and began to get out of the bus near the House of Culture, I asked the driver the question whether he was going to rally for the Komi Republic. And he pointed to the police and said that they could now load us back to the bus. Then for the first time it seemed to me that something was wrong. I took the camera and started shooting. In addition to our three buses, cars began to drive up, a lot. On the street, I first turned off the camera, but, noticing that they were shooting us, turned on it back - you never know what, suddenly they will begin to beat us, and we need to shoot everything in order to protect themselves. A local resident who stood at the entrance to the House of Culture shouted to us: “Do not go there, you are civilians, they want to substitute you!” I thought that provocations are satisfied due to the fact that they want to send their garbage to our Komi. I believed that we came to defend our rights and rights of the Komi Republic. In the House of Culture at the entrance to the hall there was a man with a pack of posters, who distributed them to all. I saw the inscriptions "Shies" and did not even understand what it was. Therefore, she refused the posters, although they tried to get them to me. “What,” I think, “for nonsense, nothing applies to our republic there.” The hall was mostly filled with men, only my friend and I were of women, and even five women in the age already.

"Soon I realized that they just want to build something to dispose of waste"

- A few minutes after everyone sat down, three men in gray jackets climbed the stage. They began to show a presentation, they said something for a long time about the River Podchegda. Then they began to illuminate us and shoot us on cameras. Some people in the hall began to hide behind posters. But I thought that we are not looking for anything here, we do not kill anyone and do not make anything illegal, so let them take off. Periodically, I saw a man on the stage that was sitting in the middle, terribly nervous: he constantly blushed, scratched his nose, lowered his head. From time to time, he offered everyone to pat. But I did not support him, everyone was waiting for the moment when they were talking about garbage, which they want to take to Komi.

Soon I realized that they just want to build something to dispose of waste, about some bags that they will store there. Then it came to six billion, which will be given to them, about the roads, bridges that will build on this money (December 12, 2018, the governor of the Arkhangelsk Region Igor Orlov and Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyaninsigned an agreement on transfers for the development of the region. - “MBH Media”). I thought: "Why were we generally collected and closed here, what if any terrorist attack?" I even had a panic, but I decided not to twitch, and then leave as soon as possible. But I could not go out, because all the doors were closed to the hall, they didn’t let anyone out. Near the door that was in my field of vision, a man with a black beard stood and all in black. Somewhere in the middle of the meeting, the light turned off. But one of the men on stage continued to perform. Apparently, he was very nervous, because he spoke a non -working microphone. Most people in the hall “sitting” in phones. I invited my friend to go out, but she replied that they would not let us out. By this time, I had already stopped shooting the video, I just forgot about the camera. It was cold in the hall, and I really wanted to go home very much.

There was another strange moment. One grandmother decided to ask a question, while she was very worried and nervous. And the woman who was sitting next to her dictated to her everything that I need to say. Grandmother spoke so fragmented that I did not even understand what the question was. Some man from the hall said that he was from the Lensky district and asked for support. They also asked about how the crossing would work about new jobs. As far as I understood, there were no residents of Urdom in the hall. Before the very end, a person went to the stage and began to say something in the ear of the man who performed. This speaker immediately said that our time has expired, that they have business, so they need to urgently go.

"We were told that we are corrupt"

- We were let through one door, and released through the other two. At that moment, local residents broke. They shouted at us, said that we were corrupt. They stopped the man who led our trip, was very pressed, said: “Who are you? Show your passport! " I tried to break out. There was a great aggression when we went out, cursed us. On the street, the locals shouted to us with a friend: “Oh, you, young girls! How much did you buy for 500 rubles? " I wanted to somehow speak out, but I realized that we were wrong. It is very difficult for local residents, and I did not say a word. We could not find our bus, there were buses only from the 29th region, this is the Arkhangelsk region. While we waited and smoked, some woman came up to me and said: “You will not have children!” Finally, my friend’s classmate appeared and called our bus on the phone. I was very afraid, climbed into the salon, closed the window and thought: it would be more likely to go.

On the way back, I wrote a note and felt very guilty, the sediment was bad. One of the men behind me expressed an obscene one. If without a mat, then he said: “How we were deceived! Just used. " Another man answered him: "If everyone begins to express his point of view, then what will happen here, leave his opinion to yourself." The guy who called us with his friend took two thousand rubles from the wallet on the way back, said this is to me and my friend for going. I do not know, they told him to pay or it is, of his own free will, because he saw how we worry. My friend and I asked him, why money? And he holds them and does not remove them. I asked him: "Take it off, please." We said: “No” - and that’s it! He took the money back. I was silent all the way, looked out the window and wrote a post.

"I am ashamed that I did not understand the situation and went"

- After the publication of the post, they wrote to me both gratitude and nasty things, there were no threats yet, but I'm very afraid. I was accused of fake, because I on the social network VKontakte gave a link to my Instagram, where I have a different name. I started another page on VKontakte, because on my page, which since 2012, many people, children from the camp (I have been working in the summer of a counselor in the studio), you will not lay out everything that I want. After the accusations, I wanted to change the name there to my real one, but they wrote to me from the technical support that this can only be done at the end of February. A friend fully supports me, says that she is following all the comments on my last posts, but she would not dare to publish this - too much negativity.

I am ashamed that I did not understand the situation and went. I did not climb into any source. For us, for young people, this is such a movement - we go to the rally. I did not ask if there was such a situation at all that they were going to take out the garbage to Komi, just believed her friend, and she believed other people.

In June 2018, two hunters from Urdoma discovered a cut down forest and an unfolding construction near ShiES. The workers told them that there will be a garbage training ground here, where waste from Moscow will be taken (more about garbage collapse - in our video report,Moscow garbage is traveling around Russia ).

According to the presentation shown by the inhabitants of the Lensky district of the Arkhangelsk region in December 2018, the garbage training ground in Shies will take 300 hectares. It is planned that 500 thousand tons of waste per year will be brought here.

ShiES station is located in an elevated swampy area, streams with which are flowing into Potzhegda. In the case of a leakage of toxic substances, poisoned water can enter the Northern Dvina and Barents-Region. Residents of the Lensky district are afraid that they will suffer the first and stronger than the rest.

It is planned that in the Arkhangelsk region there will be another 56 objects related to processing, overload and waste disposal.

In August, protests began in the Arkhangelsk region against the import of metropolitan waste. They still do not stop. The new large -scale action in the Arkhangelsk region and the Komi Republic will be held on February 3 on the day of the All -Russian Eco -Protest.
