Nefteyugansk Mayor Sergei Degtyarev sent complaints to the FSB about violations during searches in the city administration on January 24, his lawyer Altynai Naimanova told Interfax.
Naimanova noted that no criminal cases were brought against Degtyarev and no charges were brought against him.
“My opinion is that there was a seizure of power, since what happened cannot be connected with the current criminal procedural and other legislation, and operational investigative activities,” Degtyarev himself said.
