A military man from Sochi was sentenced to two years in a penal colony for torturing a private with a stun gun.

The Sochi Garrison Military Court sentenced the commander of a military unit, Sergeant Malik Abdullaev, to two years in a penal colony for torturing a subordinate with a stun gun, reports , citing the court’s press service. Interfax

Abdullaev was found guilty of exceeding official powers (Article 286 of the Criminal Code).

According to investigators, in February 2018, Abdullaev struck the private 12 times with an electric stun gun and later beat him. The Department of the Investigative Committee for the Southern Military District speaks of 13 electric shocks.
