In the case of Senator from Karachay-Cherkessia Rauf Arashukov, the executive director of the Essentukigorgaz company, Alan Kyatov, was detained, according to the website of the main department of the Investigative Committee. Essentukigorgaz is part of Gazprom Gas Distribution Stavropol.

Now Kyatov is being interrogated, after which the investigation will file a petition for his arrest.

Senator Rauf Arashukov was detained on the morning of January 30 during a meeting of the Federation Council. He was accused of organizing two murders (Part 3 of Article 33, paragraphs “g” and “h” of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code), putting pressure on a witness (Part 4 of Article 309 of the Criminal Code) and participation in a criminal community (Part 3 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code) .

His father Raul Arashukov, general director of Gazprom Gas Distribution Astrakhan and Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Astrakhan Ruslan Arashukov, head of the Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Stavropol branch Guzer Khashukaev and general director of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Stavropol Igor Travinov are suspected of fraud (Article 290 of the Criminal Code) and participation in criminal community (Article 210 of the Criminal Code).

All of them are arrested . The investigation believes that the defendants in the case are involved in the theft of gas from the Gazprom company in the amount of more than 30 billion rubles. The senator's father was previously an adviser to the general director of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz.
