Angara region: Expensible vaccines entered the hospitals

The regional supplier sent overdue vaccines to hospitals and clinics of the Irkutsk region at the end of January. This was reported in the Ministry of Health of the region.

According to the ministry, the Irkutsk regional wholesale and contextual pharmacy base sent a BCG-M vaccine with a limited shelf life to medical organizations of the Angara region. As a result, today, February 1, 2019, all vaccines were expired.

The Ministry of Health of the Irkutsk Region conducts an official audit of the officials of the pharmacy base, the ministry said.

The director of the company-supplier Yuri Slangchenko was announced a ban on the vacation of the vaccine, and the main doctors of the region were warned of the ban on using it.

According to the order of the Ministry of Health of Russia, a vaccine with an expired shelf life must be placed in a quarantine zone.
