Canadian CBC journalist Kate McKenna figured out how the creators of a giant bear painted in the snow in Montreal made him a navel without leaving any traces around.
The editors contacted Valerie Duhamel, who trampled a huge bear in a snowdrift. “Yes, [the belly button is] five snowballs thrown at one place,” she said, adding that she did not expect such media attention to her bear.
Representatives of the operator of the Lashin Canal, on whose ice the bear was trampled, reminded journalists that it is forbidden to walk on it in winter.
