A bus carrying children overturned in the Kaluga region. Four people died

Update. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kaluga region told Interfax that four people were killed, including one child.

In the Kaluga region, a bus carrying children overturned, they said in the local department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. According to preliminary data, two adults were killed, 16 children were injured.

The bus was carrying children from Yartsevo to Kaluga for competitions. There were 48 people on the bus, including 33 children.

"Interfax" in the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was informed that a criminal case had been initiated on violation of traffic rules. According to the preliminary version , the bus skidded on the road, and the driver lost control. The head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered that the investigation of the criminal case be transferred to Moscow.
