However, the lawyer himself connects the threats with the publication of the fact of torture in SIZO No. 1 of Irkutsk. At the end of January, Dmitriev said that his client was tortured to “beat out” testimony against a friend who is fighting drug dealers.

According to the lawyer, after the arrest, the man was immediately taken to cell No. 406, known in the pre-trial detention center as the “press hut” or “torture room”. Dmitriev claims that in it a group of prisoners intimidate, beat and torture the detainees, demanding from them the necessary testimony. The lawyer notes that the group is led by convicts Anton Yarovoy and Andrei Bevzyuk, who two years ago should have been transferred to a strict regime colony.

Dmitriev believes that the caller is connected precisely with Anton Yarov. The lawyer does not exclude that it could be Yarovoy himself.
