The British Grant program for Russian music organizations has been opened
© Department of Culture and Education of the British Embassy in Moscow Until February 10, the British Embassy Department in Moscow accepts applications for a program of grants for Russian organizations working in the field of music. The program takes place as part of the Year of Music of Great Britain and Russia 2019.
Russian organizations planning joint projects with British performers in Russia from March 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020 are invited to participate in the grant program.
Apply to receive grants:
- state and private concert halls;
- Philharmonic and conservatory;
- theaters;
- clubs and bars;
- independent agencies and promoters;
- state and independent music festivals;
- other cultural institutions with musical programs and projects (museums, parks, etc.);
- Orchestras, ensembles, music groups or performers with experience in organizing concerts and planning events with the participation of British performers.
Grant can be used for the following purposes:
- The musical representation of any genre: festival, concert, performance, opera, DJ Set, audiovisual installation, etc., which takes place in Russia with the participation of British musicians, soloists, conductors (preference will be given to a series of events, tours by regions, etc.);
- the creation of a new musical work for the British composer for execution in Russia;
- television and radio programs dedicated to music, live broadcast or recording of music programs, online projects;
- Conducting conferences, seminars, lectures, exhibitions, advertising campaigns and other additional events if they accompany a living musical performance.
