In Chuvashia, Alexei Mironov, a volunteer of Alexei Navalny's headquarters, who was convicted for posts on VKontakte, was released. It is reported by "Idel. Realities".

On January 22, the decision to release Mironov was issued by the Leninsky District Court of Cheboksary. The activist's case was reviewed in connection with the partial decriminalization of Article 282 of the Criminal Code.

Mironov was supposed to be released on February 2, but since it was a day off, his release was postponed.

“The first days I will now spend at home, meeting with friends. I spent a whole year in captivity, there was time to think about it, at least no more posts on social networks. In general, I am still a volunteer of Navalny's Cheboksary headquarters. I do not rule out that I will leave Russia, ” quotes Mironov as saying. 7x7

• Aleksey Mironov was sentenced to two years and three months in a colony-settlement for incitement to extremism (part 2 of article 280 of the Criminal Code) and inciting hatred (part 1 of article 282 of the Criminal Code) because of posts on the VKontakte social network. The investigation considered that they contained calls for a change of power.

• The activist repeatedly ended up in a punishment cell for leaving socks or bread in the nightstand, for frequent showers, and for overslept getting up. Because of this, the court decided to transfer Mironov to a general regime colony, which is a worsening of conditions.
