© VACThe VAC Foundation announced the launch of the new program “Expanding Space”, which will be a continuation of the 2015-2016 project of the same name, dedicated to artistic practices in the urban environment.
“Now the VAC is moving to working with a spectrum of familiar to the townspeople of cultural and educational practices, which before that almost did not interest Russian institutions of contemporary art,” the fund said in a message on the fund's website . “From the symbolic centers of cultural production-museums and exhibition spaces- VAC is sent to elements of local cultural and educational infrastructure, often located far from the geographical center of Moscow.”
“In cooperation with cultural houses, libraries, cinemas, markets, other communities and organizations , VAC will reveal the expanding potential of modern art practices through understanding the usual, but largely ky formats,” the organizers of the program “Expanding Space” report.
Within the framework of the program, it is supposed to implement seven projects :

The open set of participants in the project “Founded on real events” begins today, February 5, in the Central Library named after A.A. Akhmatova.
