The Primorye prosecutor's office drew up a protocol on violation of the right to education against the director of a school in the village of Pervomayskoye because of a conversation “about sex education” for students in grades 5-8. This was told by the official representative of the Prosecutor General's Office Alexander Kurennoy.
The student meeting took place in January 2019. Parents of schoolchildren said that the lecture was conducted by criminal authorities. Kurennoy noticed that one of the three people who gave the lecture had not been prosecuted at all, while two others had already had their convictions cancelled.
School principals plan to hold accountable, as students were distracted from the educational process to talk with people without special qualifications. It also turned out that one of the participants in the conversation used foul language in front of the children, and a protocol on petty hooliganism was drawn up against him.
“The lecture was held as part of the educational process, during school hours. That is, the children were dragged to this incomprehensible event, ”Kurennoy said.
