Medvedev fired the head of the Federal Tourism Agency

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev dismissed Oleg Safonov, head of Rostourism, and transferred the agency under the control of the Ministry of Economic Development.

“All this needs to be done (to develop the tourism industry), pay attention to this, set priorities correctly and manage money effectively. In this context, we have decided that the Ministry of Economic Development should deal with these issues to a greater extent, so the management body itself was transferred there. It is necessary to increase the efficiency of work, ” the press service of the government quotes Medvedev.
