Three Kaliningrad residents were detained for protesting against torture in front of the city administration

Three volunteers from the headquarters of opposition leader Alexei Navalny were detained in Kaliningrad for organizing an action against torture, according to the page of Navalny’s supporters on VKontakte.

Ivan Luzin and two minor girls were detained; they went to Victory Square opposite the city administration with posters dedicated to the defendant in the “Network” case, Viktor Filinkov, and the leader of BARS, Alexander Orshulevich, who reported torture during their arrest.

“They managed to take pictures on Victory Square.
The arrest was carried out by several police officers and an "eshnik". Protocols are drawn up against activists,” Navalny’s supporters noted.

Headquarters employee Maria Petukhova told Mediazona that the parents of the detained minor girls came to see them, and a lawyer came to see the young man. “They are in the basement, where there is no connection,” she noted.
